MOORMAN: Rev. Melvin, 81 years, beloved husband of Jeanette Moorman, father of Linda, Brent and Brian, passed away in the Souris Hospital on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Funeral arrangements are pending. In memory of Melvin, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or to the Souris Gospel Chapel. Kowalchuk's Funeral Home, Souris in care of arrangements.

To the family, So sorry to hear of the passing of Reverend Moorman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I remember Rev. Moorman when I was a young girl and your church used to come to my parents nursing home (Riverbend Home) to do a weekly service for the residents. I always used to partake in the singing and I am sure I had you sing Wonderous Story every week as that was my favorite hymn. The residents loved their weekly service.
