CHRISTOPHER ANDREW FALCETTA

Peacefully at the Health Science Centre on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, Chris passed away at the age of 38 years.
Chris will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Danny and Brigitte; brother Tony (Cheryl); niece Ella; nephew Nico; Aunt Louise (Sandro); Uncle Domenic (Carmela); aunt Mickey (Wally); tante Sybille (Rico), tante Annemarie (Graham), tante Barb; as well as many cousins.
Chris was predeceased by his grandparents, Antonio and Maria Falcetta and Fred and Lieselotte Fraas; and Uncle Michael Fraas.
Chris was a special loving, caring person. He was always concerned about how the rest of the family was doing, no matter what issues he was going through. During the day he enjoyed his time alone watching British comedies, Facebook with his many friends or listening to music. But at nighttime before bed he wanted to talk to Mom and Dad on the days activities and what we had planned for the week or what his niece and nephew were doing (Ella and Nico) or what his brother and sister-in-law were up to (Tony and Cheryl).
He especially enjoyed trips to Thunder Bay to visit family and holidays to Grand Forks, Fargo and Duluth. The time he spent with his best friend Allan was very special because they had so much in common.
Chris was blessed to have such tremendous support from home care staff (Jules, Ken, Wes, Max), and from doctors (Dr. Hill, Dr. West, Dr. Bermack, Dr. Aoke, Dr. Jonathan Elkin). From the many nurses over the years, just to name a few that were very special to Chris (Diane, Dustin, Nadine, Marty, Ferdy, Darryl, Anna, and Vern). All the respiratory people, Doctor Corn, Elana and Penny. We say thank you to you all.
A private family service will be held on Friday, May 14.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris' memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
