BRUCE ALLEN RELKE

Peacefully, on Saturday, May 15, 2021, Bruce passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 71 years.
Bruce will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Joan, sons, Curtis (Stephanie) and Kyle (Zana), grandchildren, Emma and Jessa, as well as other family and friends.
Bruce was a dedicated firefighter with the City of Winnipeg, a job he loved and was truly thankful for. Co-workers appreciated Bruce and spoke highly of him. He enjoyed family time at the cottage.
Bruce loved his wife and family and was always thankful for the many blessings in his life.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to: The Firefighters’ Burn Fund Inc., PO Box 45001, RO Kildonan Place, Winnipeg, MB., R2C 5C7 or to a charity of one's choice.

You loved the water and I always remember you biking down to the beach for a swim often in the early evening.   • Captain Relke was my Captain at firehall 14 in 2007. He was a great guy and a good friend! I was his senior man at the time and we many good chats! He was a quiet man very conscientious and had a good scenes of humour! He needed to be around me! I never saw him after he retired but worked with his son Kyle and always made sure to asked how his dad was doing. He’s in that firehall in heaven looking down on all of you!
