YVONNE JOKINEN
June 6, 1941 ~ May 16, 2021
Mom is survived by her two children, Karen (Ivan) and Steven (Linda), her two grandsons, Allan and Ethan, her sister Marie, sisters-in-law, Terry, Marge, Kay (Jim) and Sandy, brother-in-law David (Nancy) and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hastir, the nurses and support staff of Beausejour District Hospital during her hospital stay and to her home care providers who made it possible for her to maintain her independence as long as possible.
Mom will be remembered for her generous spirit and a caring soul not only to her family but also her friends. She will be sadly missed.
An angel lived among us,
A gift from God above.
She showered us with kindness
And shared with us her love.
She loved her children dearly,
Each one a different way,
Nestled close within her heart.
Though, now, she's far away.
She's gone to live with Jesus.
But, she's here with us, today,
Smiling down on every one of us,
And telling us she's O.K.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations, if desired, can be made in her name to the Beausejour District Hospital.
