GIOVANNA MAZZA
August 31, 1929 - May 17, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, nonna and great-grandma. Peacefully on May 17, she left us to go home to her husband predeceased (Pasquale), her mother, sister and brother.
She was 91 years young, born in Bella di Nicastro, CZ, Italia, she arrived to Canada in July, 1957. She built a successful life alongside her husband and their two children and anyone that knew her, knew her children were the loves of her life. She was a fantastic wife and the very best mom.
She is survived by her daughter Maria (Enzo), and son Tony (RoJean); granddaughters, Antonella (Chris), Joanna (William), and Monica (Mark); great-grandchildren, Lauren, Jack, Olivia, Vivienne and Aida, and numerous nieces and nephews including those in Italy and France.
A light from our family is gone, she was the person that taught us everything, except how to live without her. Together we will find strength through the lifetime of memories she leaves us with. She loved to plant flowers and was a fabulous cook. We promise to continue with those Sunday dinners and many other family traditions. Looking good was important to her, always looking so beautifully put together and she loved her perfume. She loved roads trips and soccer tournaments, she never missed a school concert and her happy place was with her kids and grandkids. She supported us through our education, dreams and goals, she was our biggest cheerleader. She loved to laugh, she was always laughing, forever laughing. She spent every single day with her family, there was no time wasted. We find peace in knowing we made our time together count. We will continue to honour and celebrate her.

Thank you for being the strongest woman
we have ever and will ever know. Give
grandpa a big hug and kiss from all of us.
We will meet you in the clouds, our golden
treasure. Love you and sleep with the angels.
