CECILE BISSON
1935 - 2021
Surrounded by family, Cécile passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the age of 86.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Clément Bisson. She leaves to mourn her, five children: Marc (Sophie Fontaine-Bégin), Georges (Susan Nelson), Brigitte (Antonio Fonseca), Pierre (Roberta Larson) and Nicole (Paul Roche); her 12 grandchildren and their 3 great-grandchildren; her sisters: Hélène and Irène; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Maman was also predeceased by her parents: Adélard and Irène, her siblings: Louis, Annette, Henri, Jeanne, Rita, Paul, Simone, Yvonne, Raymond, Guy and Lucille.
She was born and raised in the town of La Broquerie and had many fond memories of that time with her family, especially her little sister Lucille. Cécile was a kind, caring wife and mother. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was very fond of music and singing. She took pleasure in travelling, sightseeing and liked a good road trip. Even going out for a walk or for coffee would make her day. Though she worked many years in housekeeping at the St. Boniface Hospital, Maman's "real job" was caring for us. She always made sure that we felt at home in all the places where we lived. We would all have hoped to have more time with her.
Maman, you will be deeply missed.
Merci pour ton amour!
In keeping with Cécile's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
If so desired, donations may be made in Cécile's memory to the Alzheimer Society.
