CORNELIUS REIMER
1925 - 2021

Cornelius passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital on May 31, 2021, at 96 years of age. He spent three years residing at Fred Douglas Lodge.
He was predeceased by his wife Erika, daughter Christa and son Siggy. He leaves to mourn Gatch (Burma), Mingi, Gela (Leo), Manna, Margaret (Tim), Lisa (Drew), Michelle (Ernie) and Robert; 17 grand-children and 24 great-grandchildren.
Cornelius was born on January 1, 1925 in Kronstal, Russia. Immigrated to Canada with his wife Erika and daughter Christa in 1948 and eventually made their home in Winnipeg.
Dad worked in construction all of his life, until he retired in 1996. He love to fish, sing (his songs) and welcomed anybody into his home and always made them feel comfortable. In his later years he enjoyed travelling to Europe with his family and sharing with them his memories of the Old Country. He loved to visit his childhood home Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.
To abide by his wishes cremation has taken place. He will be laid to rest with his wife Erika.
