It is with great sadness that the family of Peter John Danyluk announces his passing on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 81.
Peter will be missed by his daughters, Joanne (Craig) and Karen (Brian), grandsons, Matthew (Candace), Tyler, Justin, Zachary, and great-granddaughters, Olivia and London. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen, his parents, and his two sisters and two brothers.
Peter was born July 7, 1939 in Poplarfield, Manitoba. He joined the Armed Forces in 1956. In 1957, while he was stationed in Montreal, he met his loving wife Eileen. They married in 1958 and lived there for 10 years. In 1970, they moved to Winnipeg. In Winnipeg, he was employed with Canada Post, working his way up from letter carrier to divisional manager until his retirement in 1994. Peter enjoyed spending summers with his family at the cabin and winters in sunny destinations. Although he didn't say it often, he was proud of his family. They were very important to him.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family interment will be held at Glen Eden Cemetery.
