She will be sadly missed and her memory will be forever cherished by Don (Cece), Randy (Helen), Merissa (Evan), Ivy and Axl, Tricia (Jeff) and baby Gia, as well as her extended family in Toronto.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna; brothers, Peter, Mike and Nick; sisters, Mary and Jean.
She was born in Stead, MB on September 2, 1925 and was raised on the family farm, where she learned the value of hard work and obtained her love of picking and eating blueberries. She worked for 33 years at the Fort Garry Hotel, when she transitioned into being a "Nana" for her nieces, Merissa and Tricia, as well as her nieces and nephews in Toronto.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service was held.
The family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Holy Family Care Home, St. Mary's Unit, for their care and compassion shown to our Aunt Helen.
