She had four sons, Robert (Barb), Don, Allan and Rod (Helen). Grandchildren, Ryan (Myra), Erin (Pat) Rey, Dayna (Cam) Hardy, Jaclyn (Mike) MacKenzie, Dean (Laurie), Kelly (Beau) Richardson and Mark (Chantel). Her great-grandchildren included Madilyn, Tyson, Misty, Nila, Ainsley, Hunter, Norah, Kylan, Quinn, Landon and Luke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Doug, parents, Joseph and Clara Johnston, her brother Arthur (Bud) with RCAF in June 1944, her father and mother-in-law Alex and Sarah Savage and her daughter-in-law Dianne.
