MARGARET SIGMAR
October 6, 1927 - June 23, 2021
Mom was predeceased by her husband J.K.H. ("Duke") Sherritt; her parents, John and Elva Malcolm; brother Keith Malcolm; son-in-law Alan Palmer; grandsons, Jay Palmer and Nick Sigmar.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Grace, Bonnie and Steve; grandchildren, Scott, Cari (Kelly), Wes (Jen), Steve, Kelli (Jason), Leslie (Nick); great-grandchildren, Isabella, Brody, Brynja, Lilja, Karissa, Taylor, Brooke, Brandon, Kaya, Sarenity; sister-in-law Rosalind Malcolm and many nieces and nephews.
Mom had a quick wit and people were naturally drawn to her. We admired her for her courage, strength and resiliency. Curling, politics, current events, travelling and family were just some of her greatest pleasures.
Our family would like to thank the staff on 2 South at West Park Manor for their kindness, compassion, care and support over the last year and a half.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, a private family Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in mom's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
