- Posted by: Gilbert & Linda Perrin (Friends) on: Jul 05, 2021

  • Sending the family my most sincere condolences. M. André (and Donata) were the best landlords and were very special to myself and my daughter when she was growing up. Always planting flowers, a garden and painting for us and they were both like grandparents to me. I hold and treasure many good memories living in the side by side on Kavanagh. I would have loved to see M. André him again prior to his passing but unfortunately the Covid pandemic hit. He was always thoughtful and sent well wishes to Suzanne, another neighbour, to pass on to me at Christmas time and just to say hello. He will be sadly missed by many. • I sure miss Gabriel. I would plant gardens and if he felt like sharing some wisdom, he did so gently. For as long as I knew him, he insisted on doing things just so as I think he liked things done properly. He was in his late 80s and you could see him painting window frames on the second story. He will be missed as he was already missed during COVID-19 lock down at Catherine Place. À la prochaine fois M.André. - Posted by: Suzanne Frechette (Neighbor for 20 years) on: Jul 03, 2021

  • My sympathies go out to you and your foamily at this time of sadness. Your father is in heaven and in time your sorrow will diminish and your heart will keep all the loving memories. Not sure if you remember me I was friends with Gil and Otis. God bless and keep you. - Posted by: Ray Slipetz (Friend of daughter Jacquie when we were in our teens) on: Jul 03, 2021
