June 5, 1926 - June 22, 2021
Aileen was predeceased by her best friend and husband Douglas W. Elliott in 2000. She is survived by children, Lois, Noreen (Jack) and Bruce (Paula), grandchildren, Kristin, Wendy (Simon), Greg (Julie), Richard (Leslie), Leigh (Darren), Kevin, Adam and great-grandchildren, Luc, Kiera, Ripley, Finley, Zoe, Lauryn, Charli, Camden, Casey, Jack and Sigrun.
Her entire life was devoted to family, community service and travel. Aileen always wore a smile and would find the good in everything and everyone. She was an accomplished seamstress, loved knitting, as well as playing bridge and mahjong. Family will remember her for the "Grammie Mitts" that she knitted. She cherished the friendships gained living at The Wellington seniors residence since 2003.
Many thanks to the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for their care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
