CARL (WHITEY) GORDON LARSON
Carl was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to his parents, Carl and Marta Larson, on October 30, 1935. He worked as a skilled and respected painter in his career and enjoyed playing hockey in his younger years. Carl loved going to Cuba which he did for many years with his friends and enjoyed the many friendships he formed at the Anavets John Osborn VC Unit #1.
Carl will be sadly missed by all of his friends, especially Wayne Bardal, Eddie Ryan, Ed Buchan, and Big John.
A private graveside service will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens where Carl will be laid to rest with his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Anavets John Osborn VC Unit #1 at a later date when Public Health Orders allow for it.
Thank you to the staff of Oakview Place Personal Care Home for the care and compassion shown to Carl over the years.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carl may be made to a charity of choice.
