IRIS LENORE LAWSON
(MILLER)
1923 - 2021
Survived by sons, Dennis (Judith) of Edmonton and Randy (Cheryl) of Winnipeg, son-in-law Bill Dewald, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Iris always put family first, she loved all of us and was always interested in what everyone was doing and had achieved in life. She had an incredible memory right until the end. She was fiercely independent, loyal, stubborn, opinionated (but open to hearing opposing views) and reserved. Before her eyesight failed, she loved to read, knit, crochet and cook big family Sunday dinners. She loved having everyone over weekly for visits and family time.
In accordance with Iris's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service.

My deepest sympathy to Randy and Dennis and your families on the loss of your mom. Living next door to your family for so many years, I always think of your mother as such a caring person. She loved children. I remember she came to my rescue one time when I dumped Shelagh from my doll carriage in front of your house. A quiet woman but a beautiful one. Deepest condolences.
