• Janet was my mother. She didn't have an easy life and her and my father Kelvern worked hard for everything they had. After the tragic and accidental passing of my dad when I was six years old my mom had to raise a young boy by herself in the inner city of Winnipeg. The passing of Kelvern would be very damaging to her and something she would never recover from. Despite the hardships she was enduring she taught me to be respectful, honest and hardworking. I'm grateful for her way she brought me up. She tried to shield me from the world as best she could. Despite the hardships she made sure to provide for me. I really wanted for nothing. I remember her always walking me to Wellington School everyday and walking me home. Regardless what the weather was she was there. I deeply miss her. I wish we had more time to get to where we needed to be in our relationship. As hard as it was at times I will always love her and my father. Janet and Kelvern I hope are in peace now together and forever. She will be missed by many I'm sure but no one more so than myself and grandchildren, Carissa and Caiden. Love always Charles.
