MURIEL EVELYN SURMAN
August 5, 1923 June 30, 2021
She was predeceased by her husband Ken Surman in 2000. Muriel was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughter Linda Schorath (Alfred), son Blake Surman (Gail), son Paul Surman (Sharon), and grandchildren, Kevin (Sarah), Lauren, Karen (Bob), Ross, and great-grandson Ezra.
Muriel was a regular parishioner of St. Chad's Anglican Church in St. James, as a member of the choir and Ladies' Auxiliary. Muriel remained a member of St. Chad's through the years. She also delivered Meals on Wheels and was an avid Wednesday afternoon five pin bowler.
Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends as a kind and gentle soul.
The family would like to make special mention of Barry, who was a wonderful, loyal friend to Muriel over many years, and also thank friends, Irene and Madeleine for their support.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Charleswood Care Centre for their care and support of Muriel during the past four and a half years.
A family service will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
