In remembrance of my cousin Gwen from Walene. Thank you Gwen for the many presents that you sent for Juli as she was growing up, the subscriptions to the magazine The Beaver and most of all the lovely meals and times that we all shared when we came from Toronto to visit everyone. We had our seasons in the sun, love from Walene (Daoust). - Posted by: walene daoust (cousin) on: Jan 09, 2022

Auntie Gwen was a beloved friend of all the students and staff of École Sun Valley School. She was a faithful volunteer in our Face to Face program, reading with and encouraging many students. Auntie Gwen was always happy to participate in all of the school events, dressed for the part! Her cheerful smile and genuine kindness will be missed by all. - Posted by: Cathy Paul (Friend) on: Jul 31, 2021

I am deeply saddened to hear of Gwen's passing. She was one of my favorite customers. Always asked about my family and was so encouraging. Gwen had the best style of anyone. I will miss her terribly. She was loved. - Posted by: Nicole Coad (Friend from The UPS Store) on: Jul 15, 2021

So very saddened to learn of Gwen's passing. She was an active member of the Charleswood Historical Society and her knowledgeable input at meetings was always welcome. She was very supportive of the maintenance of Caron House and her involvement was most appreciated. Her sense of humour and good nature will be missed. - Posted by: Otto Ament (friend) on: Jul 10, 2021

I was deeply saddened to learn of my friend Gwen's passing. She was an active member of the Charleswood Historical Society being on the Board of Directors and on the Caron House and Museum Committees. She was always cheerful, very helpful and generous contributing often to the Museum collections and Caron House contents. She will be greatly missed. Sincere sympathy to family members. - Posted by: Gwen Jamieson (friend) on: Jul 10, 2021
