He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jacqueline and his only son André (Nicole); grandchildren, James and Caitlin.
As per Phil's wishes, cremation and a private family interment has taken place at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
Flowers or donations may be made to the Maples Personal Care Home in Phil's memory.
