MARIA FLORESCO
April 16, 1928 – July 19, 2021
She was predeceased by her husband Roman, her parents, Marinus and Jacoba VanUden, brothers, Hubert, Rene and John, her son-in-law Bob Tindale, and her little pal Squeally.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie (Rob) Black, grandsons, Rob Tindale and Cody Black, great-grandson Tyler, sisters, Anne (John) VanderAa, Jackie (Art) Tibold and Marie VanUden. She is also survived by children, George, Mario and Sylvia.
Mom came to Canada from Bakel, Netherlands and settled in Selkirk in 1951. She will be remembered for her warm smile, kindness, the best potato pancakes and perogies and for the afghans that she made for everyone. The most important thing to her was family.
As per Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held.
