Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 53 years, Marty, one daughter Kirsten, one son Adam (Jenn) of North Vancouver, BC and extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her son Matthew, her parents and one sister.

"Martin B"...my sincere condolences to you and the family at this extremely sad time. Helen was a lovely lady. I fondly remember the occasional music trivia she and I used to partake in when we both shared an office at Perimeter in the mid 80's. "Norman Greenbaum"...she blew me away with that one. In reflecting back I am certain she is now resting with the " Spirit in the Sky". Paul Risk - Posted by: Paul Risk (Co-worker) on: Jul 25, 2021
Dear Marty and family, My deepest sympathy on the loss of courageous Helen…a beautiful, thoughtful and brave woman. She was so welcoming when we were visiting Winnipeg. Her smile lit up the room. She was always interested in catching up on the news of our side of the family and included welcoming one of my dear friends, Roberta, who visited your home with me….and who regularly asked for news of you both. She was truly a sweet gift to all who knew her and will be missed. Betty Prosser…Qualicum Beach - Posted by: Betty Prosser (Cousin) on: Jul 24, 2021

Marty, so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful and fun person. - Posted by: Fred Pratt (Co-worker) on: Jul 24, 2021
Our sincere condolences go out to Marty, all his family, and the friends of Helen. I got to know Marty and Helen while we all worked at Perimeter Airlines in the mid 1970s. We worked hard and enjoyed all the friendships that a small company fosters. Marty and Helen were always a big part of all our social gatherings, and hosted many parties at their home south of Winnipeg. Helen was never one to feel sorry for herself as she dealt with all the health issues that she faced the last number of years. I will always remember her ready smile and infectious laugh. She will be missed by all. Sincerely, Kim and Lynn Sharpe, Qualicum Beach - Posted by: Kim Sharpe (Friend) on: Jul 24, 2021
