JOHN (JEAN) DESROSIERS
He was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Alice; parents, Auguste and Marie-Anne; his brothers, Paul and Maurice, his sisters, Therese, Lucille, Angele, and close companion, Joan Robinson. John will be missed by his children, Charlene (Gord), Paula (Tom), David and Denise; grandchildren, Michelle, Brian (Fabi), Samantha (Dan), D.J. (Cat), Matthew (Jill), great-grandchildren, and his beloved pets.
John is survived by his sisters, Annette and Helene; and many extended family members, and friends. John was born November 23, 1943 in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. Married in 1965, John and Alice resided in St. Boniface where they raised their family.
John's passions were spending time with his children, grandchildren, and pets. He also enjoyed hosting family gatherings, gardening, wine-making and woodworking. He made his living in the reconditioning and sales of major appliances and, as a business owner, he mentored and employed many staff throughout the years.
The family wishes to express their thanks to all the doctors and nurses for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
Interment has taken place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
