SUSAN FUNK
August 14, 1940 - August 18, 2021
Susan Funk, of Steinbach, MB, formerly of Grunthal, MB, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
She is survived by two daughters and their spouses; Audrey (Kevin Goertzen) and Valerie (Wes Froese); two sons and their spouses; Raymond (Sloane) and Kelvin (Tracy), nine grandchildren and their families; Darren Froese (Juliana; Asher, Sophia, Nathaniel), Craig Froese (Liette; Lucy, Arthur, Beatrice), Megan Funk (Ryan; Torrin, Alistair), Kurtis Froese, Eric Froese (Romanda); Rayce Funk, Tour Funk; Tyrel Funk (son Mason), and Tehya Funk.
She is also survived by two brothers, Abe Esau (Trudy) and Alvin Esau (Valida), three sisters, Mary Toews (Stan), Irene Toews (Walter), and Rose Klippenstein (Dan), and two sisters-in-law, Helen Buhler and Ann Funk; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and appreciated.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank S. Funk; her parents, her parents-in-law, two brothers, four sisters-in-law, and five brothers-in-law.
The funeral service was held on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Steinbach CMC Church, with viewing prior to the service.
Donations in memory of Susan Funk may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to the Canadian Institute for the Blind (CNIB).

There will be a come-and-go viewing Sunday, August 22, 2021, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 PTH 52W, Steinbach, MB.
