PAZ DE LA CRUZ SAROMO
Nanay is predeceased by her beloved husband Gaudencio; son Ramir; her grandsons, Warren and Derek; siblings, Pining Ilog, Carmen Fauni, Binong, Amada and Angel de la Cruz.
Nanay is survived by and leaves to mourn her brother Melchor (Bing); loving children: Flory (Felix), Luvie, Merly (Robert), Rebie (Larry), Thess, Cherry (Romeo), and Henry; grandchildren: Heather; Mabelle (Chris), Joyce; Richard (Russel), Ruby (Ryan), and Jessica; Valerie (Dennis), Jackie Lou (Christian), and Sarah (Josh); Honey (Brian), Ace, and Charlene; Chantel (Mike), Charles (Lidivette), Chessa (Darren), and Christian; Monica (Julio), Heavenly, Sophia and Raphael; great-grandchildren: Hayden, Coen, Mia, Raelyn, Ryden, Grayson, Brooklyn, Brody, Elisha, Naveah, Charlotte, Kenzo, Cruz, Kaye, Kaige, Atlas and Addison.
Nanay was born on January 24, 1923 in Alapan Imus, Cavite, Philippines. Nanay and her husband Gaudencio later migrated to Winnipeg in 1979 to join their children in Canada.
Nanay had a very warm, loving and caring personality and had a great sense of humour that filled the room. She will forever be missed and cherished by her family.
Celebration of Life and Lamay to be held on Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillvary Blvd. Mass service to take place on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. Interment to follow at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery.
