Shantaben Tailor was born in Masa Bhagad, India in 1929 and immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1978. She was the beloved wife of the late Dalpatbhai Tailor; the cherished mother of Dinu (late Hansa) Tailor and the late Jayvanti (late Navnitlal) Tailor and the doting grandmother of Smita (Ashok) Surti, Shilpa (Vinay) Varma, Alpa (Piyush) Sorathia, Prashant (Bhumika) Tailor in India and Adarsh (Kripali) Tailor and Neeti (Rajan) Varma in Canada and proud great-grandmother to 12 great-grandchildren.
She will always be remembered for her kind heart, inner strength and contagious laughter.
A funeral service in honour of Shantaben will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson in the Park Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating will be limited to close family and friends. For those who wish to attend virtually please follow this link:
