My deepest condolences to all Auntie Jessie's children (my cousins) and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There are so many of you that are going to miss this most wonderful lady. I enjoyed visiting and the occasional phone call with Auntie Jessie over the years and wished she was my mom. She was indeed a beautiful soul. Uncle Roy has his arms wrapped around his beloved Jessie once again. - Posted by: Faye Achtymichuk (Niece) on: Oct 13, 2021

Condolences to all of the McBey family on the loss of your Mom. I have so many wonderful memories from the lake. We always felt welcome at the McBey cottage, and were always encouraged to come in for a visit or a pig roast! .We knew our Aunt was in good hands having the McBeys as neighbors, as they visited often and always lent a hand when needed. Dora and Jessie had such a wonderful friendship, and for that we are thankful. I will miss your Mom's great sense of humor and contagious laugh. May all of the great memories help you through this difficult time. - Posted by: Linda Bonner (Family Friend) on: Sep 20, 2021

Our deepest condolences to the McBey family. It has been our honour to have had a friendship with this wonderful family for many years. Jessie and Roy were awesome role models for those of us beginning parenthood. They always welcomed us into their home and the coffee pot was always warm. We have so many wonderful memories and we know the family has many to share as they face the lonely days ahead. You were blessed to have had such a wonderful Mom. - Posted by: Lorne and Susan Lisik (Friend) on: Sep 11, 2021

My family and I are so sorry to hear of Jessie’s passing, and would like to offer our condolences to her family. Jessie was always ready for a chat on the front porch, or on the street, and a treat for our pup. She gave us so much information and many stories about our neighbourhood, which we always enjoyed hearing. We have been missing her since she moved, and will continue to share her stories and memories of her with our family. - Posted by: Tara Soens (Neighbour) on: Sep 11, 2021
