RICHARD GREGOIRE
February 22, 1943 - September 15, 2021
He will be deeply missed by his wife Irene (Laurin); two children, Yvette (Jean-Claude) Normandeau, Marc (Danielle) Grégoire; his eight grandchildren, Bradon (Chloé), Renée (Evan), Blaine (Amanda), Alexandre, Samuel, Gabrielle, Sylvain, and Madelaine; and his three great-grandchildren Sawyer, Charlotte and Kooper.
Richard was born on February 22, 1943, in St. Jean Baptiste and was predeceased by his parents, Georges and Germaine (Rajotte); sisters, Huguette, Dorothée (Eloi) Lessard, Fleurette (Lorne) Friesen, Gilbert, Brenda (wife of Roland), Henri (husband of Rita); two nephews, Guy Benjamin, and Hector Lessard; and niece Monique Everton.
He is survived by his brothers, Denis and Roland; and sisters, Rita Benjamin, Marcella, Paulette (Germain) Vermette, Murielle (Patrick) Simard; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gilbert (Lucie), Fern (Sharon), Albert (Yvette), Edouard (Dorothy), Lina (Martin); and numerous nephews and nieces.
Dad loved working outside, cutting wood, tinkering in the shop and spending his time volunteering for his community. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix and nothing he couldn't do! Dad also enjoyed making memories travelling, camping and spending time at the hunting camp in Woodridge. Most of Dad's family and friends knew him as ''Red'' or ''Le Rouge''. He was known for his great sense of humour and ''ses farces plates''! Most of all, Dad loved spending time with Mom, his grandkids, his family and friends. We will all miss him, forever!
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 162 Central Ave., Ste. Anne, MB. Everyone welcome or join the family via live stream www.paroissesteanne.ca.
The family would like to thank all the first responders for their care and continued support.
