HERBERT WESTON BALL
March 15, 1947 - September 17, 2021
Herb will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Herb loved curling, playing Wizard, dining out with friends, watching old movies with his cousin Roger Currie, and time spent at the cottage with family. Herb's passion was travel, especially going on cruise vacations with Kathy.
We would like to thank his wonderful team of caregivers at the Seven Oaks Dialysis program where his journey began 10 years ago.
At Herb's request there will be no formal service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation, Dialysis Program, 2300 McPhillips St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 9Z9 would be greatly appreciated.

My late husband Bill and Herb were very good friends. I am very sorry for your loss! - Posted by: Luci Merritt (Friend) on: Oct 25, 2021

Herb was a real gentleman. His mother and my mother had been close friends and our families lived two doors apart on Brock Street in the 50’s. Even years later we always had Boxing Day dinner together. Herb was always upbeat, interested in everyone and fun to be around. I will never forget when we were all very young Herb and his sister Susan invited my older sister and I to dinner at the Winter Club, Herb was the host and he was probably about 12 years old. All of us got dressed as we only did when we went to church and it was really exciting and special. It’s amazing how old memories can remain sweet so many years later. I have indelible memories of Herb, all of us called him Herbie. I always really liked him and basically considered him and the other Balls as family. Terribly sad to think of never seeing him again. To me he was a really great guy! My heart goes out to Sue, Irene and Tom and all the others who knew him. - Posted by: Larry ALLEN (FRIEND) on: Sep 25, 2021
