It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Mother and Baba, Elizabeth Ollinik on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ivan Ollinik in 1969 and her loving husband of 42 years, Len Shumski in 2014.
Mom will be forever remembered by her children, Debbie (Bruce), Ken (Dorothy), Kelly (Michelle). Also left to mourn are her grandchildren, Amanda (Lydia), Kate (Milija), Jonathan, Chelsea (Brendan), Daylen, Tanner (Jenna); her great-grandchildren, Paisley, Leela, Logan and Kennedy; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
We would like to thank the staff at Kildonan Personnel Care Home for their service and caring of our Mother. Also, the emergency staff at Health Science Centre for their care and compassion during a difficult time.
As per Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside funeral service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of our mom to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
