MARIA KRYSKO
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room.
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed.
Remember the love we once shared,
Miss me, but let me go.

Maria and I worked together in Edmonton in the early 70’s. She was a beautiful woman and great friend who was always laughing. We took evening downhill skiing lessons outside of Edmonton and had a hilarious time. I was so flattered and happy when she asked me to be godmother to Laura which I readily accepted. Sadly we lived far apart for the past 40 some years and only saw each other a few times. However she always stayed in my heart as one of my dearest friends. I will miss her greatly. - Posted by: Grietje (Friend) on: Oct 16, 2021

We were friends for many years. Stephie, Mary and I shared many laughs and memories. I am so happy I visited Winnipeg and Mary a few years ago and we shared so many laughs. She was very talented and a dear friend. I will miss emailing her and sharing experiences. Rest in peace Mary! I have so many good memories. - Posted by: Maria Zukrowsky Cofer (Old and dear friend) on: Oct 16, 2021
