She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Phillip (Samantha Halyk), Evelyn (Manfred) Knochel; grandchildren, Nico-Delphina, Maximilian; siblings, Maria Eberl, Hermi (Sepp) Scherleitner, Toni Stockler and many nieces and nephews.
Josefine was predeceased by her beloved husband Gunther.
She enjoyed life and loved living in Canada with her family. She is remembered for being caring and generous.
Cremation has taken place. She will be interred with her husband in Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
The family extends their thanks to the staff at the Cardiology Department at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kind care.
Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Josephine's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7

Josefine was a huge part of our extended family and was like a grandmother to my children as they grew up. She loved having get togethers for all the special occasions.
