ROY EDWARD TOWNS
February 10, 1938 - October 15, 2021
Roy is survived by his two sons, James and Robert; one grandson Connor; three sisters, Ruth Church, Jean Hammell and Carral Bozyk (Ted), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Roy had an interesting life; a born salesman who perfected his craft over many years until his retirement. He loved the music of his time and played it loud.
At last he found the perfect place to call home with Transitional Living Centres (TLC). It was with their support that he lived out his life like a rock star. Thank you Markos, Leah, Rosselle and many others at TLC.
The family is forever grateful for Tom and Ruby who watched out for him for many years, putting him back together when he was broken and finally creating "new beginnings" for him.
To all the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, thank you for the delivery of care during his brief stay.
There will be no formal service. Roy's final resting place will be at Thomson in the Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
For all the things I was,
I still am a son, a brother, a father,
a grandfather, an uncle and a friend.
Rest in Peace Uncle Roy.

Sorry to hear of Roy's passing. The Towns Family was an essential part of my childhood and have fond memories of all the family members. I may live in BC but my roots will always be in Winnipeg, Manitoba. RIP Roy. - Posted by: Pat Stadelmeier (Friend to the family) on: May 20, 2023
