KIRK D. SILVESTER
February 24, 1958 - October 20, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kirk with his stepmom Dianne Turski by his side on October 20, 2021, at the age of 63.
Kirk was from a loving and blended family. Left to cherish his memory is his relatives: stepmom Dianne Turski (caregiver); step-siblings, Carl Turski (Lori), Pam Turski, Trevor Turski (Cheryl) and extended family.
Kirk was predeceased by his parents, Reta and Jack Silvester of Winnipeg, MB.
Like his mom and stepmom, Kirk had a great sense of humour and loved to tease everyone. He would throw pillows as a hint that he was ready to play catch. He was the leader when going for walks and not a follower. He enjoyed rides in his golf cart and wore the tires down in no time at all. He fondly remembered and talked about his pets Puma and Chemo.
In earlier years Kirk shared many happy times with family and friends at their cottage on Lee River. His greatest times were when his dad taught him how to drive a mini bike through the trails, cruising in his ski boat and sitting around a campfire or on the deck in his rocking chair enjoying nature.
Kirk's family extends a sincere thank you to those who reached out and helped us through a difficult time: Dianne Turski and family; staff Luc, Giselle, Michael, Linda and Carol; Dr. RBW Choptiany; The Public Guardian and Trustee, and Family Services and Housing/Supported Living. It is through your guidance, professionalism and unconditional love that Kirk lived a happy life. A special thanks to the First Responders and Oakbank RCMP for their assistance.
A Service of Remembrance will take place at Green Acres on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Proof of Vaccination is required to attend.

Every life is noted and is cherished, and nothing loved is ever lost or perished.

Rest in Peace
