MAXINE GREENE

Maxine passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 101 years. She slid between the worlds today at 5:00 a.m., October 28, 2021, between the heavens, in lands of soft greens and the Canadian Shield. I'm sure she's looking forward to landing on the other side. And when she does, she'll remind us all that "it must be 5 o'clock somewhere and raise a toast".

  • I have tried 3 times to post my feeling. due to having stage 4 brain cancer, I can't seem to do it. Know that we all loved you Max and will miss you. see you soon - Posted by: M.   • Maxine was one of a kind. She lived across the back lane from us when I was growing up and she and my mother became close friends. I remember her as always being full of joy and exuberance for life. When I was in Winnipeg, I always tried to attend her church Christmas bazaar that she played an instrumental part in organizing each year. I still have the "advent Christmas tree" she gifted me with almost 45 years ago. Rest in peace, Maxine.
