Maxine was one of a kind. She lived across the back lane from us when I was growing up and she and my mother became close friends. I remember her as always being full of joy and exuberance for life. When I was in Winnipeg, I always tried to attend her church Christmas bazaar that she played an instrumental part in organizing each year. I still have the "advent Christmas tree" she gifted me with almost 45 years ago. Rest in peace, Maxine. Thanks for being a wonderful friend to our family. - Posted by: Aynsley Anderson Sosinski (nee Watters) (Former neighbour) on: Oct 30, 2021
