ALICE MARIE LANGILL
(née BERNIER)

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Langill on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Villa Youville, in Ste. Anne, MB at the age of 104 years.
Alice was the last surviving member of her family and was predeceased by her husband Stephen, in 1983; parents, Alfred and Marie Louise Bernier; and siblings, Charles, Gerard, Rene, Louis; and her sister Noëlla. Although Alice did not have any children, she will be lovingly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Alice was born, raised and educated in Ste. Anne, MB, where she spent her entire life. She had a great love for music and was very talented. Alice volunteered her services as organist for the Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB for 66 years. For this she was awarded the caring Canadian Award by Michelle Jean.
Auntie was a petite lady with lots of energy. She travelled across Canada, loved to spend time in her garden, curling, and enjoyed playing cards. Her love for cats was well known, as well as her love for baking, which was one of her many talents. She always had an Alaskan Peach Pie in the freezer ready to be enjoyed with company.
The family would like to thank all the staff and Sr. Rioux at Villa Youville for the excellent care and compassion provided to Alice.
In keeping with Alice's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
