KARIN REGINA NICKELMANN
1952 - 2021
Karin left us to join her parents, Werner and Waltraud, and brother Michael. She is survived by her son Chris (Amber); grandchildren, Caleb and Connor; extended family, and many friends.
Karin has called Canada home since 1955 after arriving from Berlin, Germany. She graduated from Sisler High School and started working at Robinson Little soon after. She later moved to Carte International Inc., where she worked in Accounts Payable until her retirement in 2007.
Karin was an active member of the German Society of Winnipeg. She enjoyed volunteering at the German Pavilion during Folklorama and she loved all 40 summers she spent at Camp Neustadt.
As per Karin's wishes, a private ceremony will take place with family.

Condolences to the Nickelmanns. I knew Karin for a few years, back when I worked at GSW, and think about her, and the Kaffeklatsch group often. She was a wonderful woman to work with. RIP, Karin. - Vanessa - Posted by: Vanessa (Friend) on: Jan 08, 2022

My deepest condolences to the family on the passing of Karin. She was a wonderful person and offered her help whenever asked. The German Society will miss her greatly. I will also miss her since she was a great friend of mine. - Posted by: Anneliese hartfiel (Friend) on: Nov 13, 2021
