June 9, 1935 - October 28, 2021

It is with great sadness that on Thursday, October 28, 2021, Irene Lim, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home, in her sleep.
She was born in Kowloon, Hong Kong, China on June 9, 1935. She came to dwell in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in January of 1956. She was predeceased by her father, Wong Yau Li and mother, Chan Sam Ting, both of Hong Kong, China. She was also predeceased by her two siblings in Hong Kong as well.
She leaves to mourn, her husband of almost 66 years, Sheck Yen Lim; their children, Nancy (Bill), Pearl (Bill), Roland (Ivy), Richard (Jun Mei), Angela, Nathaniel, and her grandchildren, Ryan, Jada, Amanda and Justine, all from Winnipeg.
Also left to mourn is her brother, Daniel (Margaret) of Richmond, BC; her nephew, Wilfred (Terry) and grandnephew, Brayden of Burnaby, BC; her nephew, Alan of Seattle, WA; her sister-in-law Crystal and grandnephew Sigmon of Richmond, BC.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Viewing will begin one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
Vaccination Proof and government-issued photo identification for all attendees at the service is required.
