January 6, 1924 - November 18, 2021
She was born In Maryfield, Saskatchewan, went to school at Amethyst School and married her sweetheart, Wesley Moore from Ryerson. Together they raised their family in Maryfield before moving to Winnipeg to be closer to their adult children.
Edith will be lovingly remembered by her five children, 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. We have so many wonderful memories of her laughter, ambition and zeal for life.
A private graveside service was held at Chapel Lawn in Winnipeg on November 26, 2021 in anticipation of a public memorial service at a later date.

I have many fond memories of visiting your farm as a boy during the summer months. For a city boy like me driving the tractor, mowing the grass, flying kites and enjoying wonderful meals with your family were the greatest adventures, which I will remember and treasure forever. Years later, visiting you in Winnipeg with my family you always made us feel so welcome. You are already missed and we look forward to seeing you again one day. God Bless you Edith, you were the best neighbour / friend, your love for life, your family and friends was outstanding! You had the best sense of humour, a shoulder to lean on, my greatest friend, I miss you. Even though we moved apart, you have always been on my mind and in my heart.
