I met Mrs Maly in the mid sixties, Bev may remember me, I was a “camper”, my family had a cottage in Loni Beach. I married a Gimli boy, Garry Peterson. In 1983 we took a job just north of Gimli and moved to Gimli with our family. The job came with housing supplied. In ‘89 Garry started to fish with his Dad and we built our home in Loni Beach. Over the years I would often see your Mom Bev, when she moved I missed seeing her. Was sad to read of her passing. May she Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Isabel Peterson (Neighbour) on: Jan 09, 2022

Good bye, dear Lona. We knew each other from St. Michael's Church in Gimli and many other occasions and circumstances. Always looking perfectly coiffed and doing the right thing, that was Lona. May you rest in peace. Eva - Posted by: Eva M Haddad (Friend) on: Dec 11, 2021
