THOMAS JOHN NEILLINGS
October 20, 1957 - December 3, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Tom at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 42 years, Karen; sons, John (Marie) and Scott; grandchildren, Madison, Liam and Avery; sisters, Debbie (Randy), Barb; and brother Don (Angie); and his nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his father Robert (Obie) in 2000 and his mother Joan in 2002.
Tom was born in Winnipeg growing up in the West End attending Daniel MacIntyre excelling in sports notably Football. After high school Tom played in the Men's Fastball League where he was blessed to play with his Dad who coached him. Tom spent his career with the City of Winnipeg retiring after 35 years.
In his retirement Tom loved to fish, garden, paint and bake. But his real purpose and passion was for his grandkids and never missed a chance to be their biggest fans at all their events. They were only rivaled by his love for the Bombers.
A come and go service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Please RSVP if attending to neillingstom@gmail.com. Double vaccination and masks are mandatory.
