EVA EILEEN EVANS

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Eva Eileen Evans on December 3, 2021.
Eva will be lovingly remembered and profoundly missed by her children, Jackie, Terri (Jonathan), Tracey (Kevin) and James (Karen); granddaughter Aislinn; sisters-in-law, Alice and Helen and her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her much loved husband Terry.
After staying home to raise her family, Eva worked at Astra Credit Union (now Assiniboine) where she developed lasting relationships with colleagues and members. She was a longtime parishioner of St. James Anglican Church and more recently, St. Andrews Anglican Church. She cherished time spent with family and friends. Above all else, Eva was a strong and resilient woman, a loving wife and treasured mother who had a generous and compassionate heart. We will miss her company, her laugh and her delicious baking.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the exceptional care provided to Eva by the staff of CancerCare Manitoba and the Health Science Centre Women's Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva's name may be made to her favourite charities: The Grace Hospital Foundation, CancerCare Manitoba and the Winnipeg Humane Society, or to a charity of your choice.

  • Jackie, Tracey, Terri, Jamie and families. So very sorry to have heard of your Mom’s passing. She was a big part of my life for many many years. I will always remember my stops in Trenton for a quick visit and some gum drop cake (always my favourite) as I made my way to Beaver Lake. I always had a friend with me and they too were welcomed and fed before we were allowed to carry on. Mom gave the best hugs!!! I will remember her with love always. Love & hugs to you all.
