Sad to see this notice. Jean was a wonderful person with a great family when I knew her back when she worked at the Capital Theatre. Condolences and big hugs being sent to Richard and especially her daughter Darlene. - Posted by: Richard Graham (Friend) on: Jun 17, 2022

Jean - you are truly going to be missed, but never forgotten. You always had a knowing smile on your face (like I know what you're up to but go ahead anyway) Full of life and laughter she loved everybody. I can't recall her ever getting mad. If her birds got loose and chewed the furniture or if her chihuahua would put on a few extra pounds she would just say meh -"what's the big deal" Family was very important to Jean as well. Christmas cards were always sent, birthdays never forgotten and she would set up lunches for different sides of the family to meet and bond. I would like to pay tribute to a very lovely lady and special friend Vicky Stewart. A couple of her many attributes were her kindness and wonderful sense of humour. We shared the same birthdates and Christmas was also special to us. We also shared many jokes. Whenever I hear Islands in the Stream I think of Vicky. She was Kenny Rogers #1 fan. I will dearly miss her calls and she'll always have a special place in my heart. When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind. - Posted by: Lance and Jan Alexander (Close friend) on: Dec 28, 2021

Our families have known each other for several years. Our hearts ache along with you. Jean was always looking out for me if she thought I was not getting a fair shake. She had a heart of gold and will be so very missed. - Posted by: Gail Michalenko (family friends) on: Dec 27, 2021
