ROSA KERGER

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rosa Kerger, peacefully, on Monday, December 27, 2021.
Rosa was predeceased by her loving husband Kalman. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Val (Tibor); sons, Kal and Lou; grandchildren and great-grandchild. She will also be missed by other extended family and friends that were very special in her life.
Rosa was born in Hungary in 1927 and lived through the Second World War and the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 before she came to Canada to start a new life.
All that knew her remember her kindness, strength, generosity and grace. She loved puzzles, playing card games and travelling to visit with family and friends. She was a devoted member of the Hungarian Kapisztran Folk Ensemble and Choir, a devout parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua (Hungarian) Roman Catholic Church and a dedicated volunteer with the Folklorama Hungary Pannonia Pavilion.
The family would like to thank the staff at Jocelyn House and Grace Hospital for their care and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
Funeral services will be private and for immediate family only.

Proverbs 31:31: "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
