1933 - 2021
The family wishes to announce the passing of their mom and grandma, Olga Blazeiko, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Pinawa Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1980; her parents, Edward and Martha Thomssen; and ten siblings.

Mom was a very active lady. She enjoyed dancing, floor curling at the Pioneer Club, playing bingo and going to the casino. Most of all she enjoyed cooking, supplying the golf course with homemade perogies. In her younger years she would close the restaurant down just to go fishing. In the early 1990s mom retired to Lac du Bonnet.
Cremation has taken place and the family is planning a celebration of life in the future.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

My deepest condolences to Gary and family. I've always held wonderful memories of Olga and have thought of her often throughout the years. Her loving and friendly disposition made her a special person. Of course, her cooking skills were always welcomed when we visited. She was easy to talk with and I enjoyed her company. I loved helping her around the kitchen in which she never refused. You were always a special person in my life Olga! I'm sure you'll be cooking up a storm in heaven.
