C'est avec profonde tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de notre chère Maman le 26 décembre à l'âge de 98 ans. Maman laisse dans le deuil sept enfants : Gérald (Patricia), Ginette, Normand (Liliane), Lorraine Pantel (Aimé), Denis (Jo-Anne), Gilles (Nancy) et Richard (Roseline).
Mémé will be lovingly remembered by her twenty-six grandchildren: Monique Préjet (Jason), Nicole Anderson (Palmer), Mélanie Hon (Dave), Joël Préjet (Alana), Marc Dupasquier (Lisa), Chantal Bassett (Jeff), Richard Dupasquier (Kate), Josée Dorge (Shawn), Daniel Préjet (Carly), Stéfan Préjet (Kristel), Marilyne Préjet-Adam (Carl), Martin Préjet (Sylvie), Lise Pantel, Patrick Pantel (Yvonne), Scott Préjet, Nicolas Préjet (Carrie), Donovan Préjet (Shannon), Stéphanie Rea (Devin), Sean Préjet, Lizanne LeFloch (Raymond), Julie Robbie (Brett), Janelle Love (Riley), Jean Préjet (Emily), Nathalie Préjet, Christian Préjet, Matthieu Préjet. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her forty-three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn two brothers: Charles (Léonie) and Guy (Georgette), two sisters: Madeleine Dedieu (Charles), Roseline Oed (Charlie) and a sister-in-law Anne-Marie Philippot. She also leaves a brother-in-law Alban Préjet (Léa) as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Jean, her grandson Michel Pantel, her daughter-in-law Odette Préjet (née François), her parents, Jean-Marie and Anne-Marie Philippot, and her in-laws, Casimir and Marie Préjet. She was also predeceased by four brothers: Jean-Marcel (Lina), Louis, Robert (Annette), Roland; two sisters: Thérèse Jacques (Alphonse) and Suzanne Sabourin, as well as six sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law: Cécile Couture (Ovila), Odette Fouasse (Martial), Yolande Péreux (Alain), Lorraine Préjet, Jeannine Préjet (née Barten) and Monique Gagné / Armstrong (Marcel Gagné / Max Armstrong).
Femme forte, travaillante, courageuse et accueillante, Maman va nous manquer. Nous les enfants ainsi que les petits-enfants, nous gardons de très beaux souvenirs de notre maman, de notre mémé.

A private funeral mass and interment were held on December 30, 2021 in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in care of arrangements.
