JOAN MODJESKI
July 25, 1931 - January 11, 2022
Peacefully, on January 11, 2022, at East Gate Lodge in Beausejour, Joan Modjeski passed away with her family at her side, she was 90 years old.
She was predeceased by her husband John in 1998; and her grandson Jason Englot in 2018. In addition, Joan was predeceased by her siblings, Adeline, Steffie, Katie, John, Joey, and Richard.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Audrey (Stan), Robert, Cindy, and Barb. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jeff, Jennifer (Ryan), Kristy (Adam), Martina, and Chad. As well, she is survived by her siblings, Clara Matchizen, Rose Gmitroski, and Pat (Richard) Rattai.
As per Joan's request, cremation has taken place, and a Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Beausejour at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home.
Many thanks to the staff at East Gate Lodge, Rose Unit and Dr. Van Rensberg, for all the care and compassion they showed towards our mother.
