DOLORES LINNEBACH
Dolores Liselotte Linnebach (née Jankowski) passed away on January 10, 2022 at the age of 91.
Born in Karlsruhe, Germany on November 16, 1930, Dolores was an inquisitive and open soul. Never was there a book that she would leave a page unturned. A voracious reader, Dolores never let the opportunity to learn something new pass her by, taking the chance as an adult to attend university classes alongside her youngest daughter. She retained throughout her life an open and non-judgmental view of people and a desire to learn about the world and the lives of others.
Dolores will be remembered for the joy she brought to all the children in her life, playing games of make-believe and preparing delicious meals. Her family will fondly remember the wonderful picnics and many meals she prepared. Her stories, humour, warmth and company will be dearly missed. She was our beloved Omi.
She was predeceased by her husband Rolf; daughter Heike (Art) and sister Inge (Willy). She will be deeply missed by her children, Wolfram, Ralph (Wendy), Ron and Karin (John); grandchildren, Kim, Maxine, Jessica, Carla, Nadja and Misikir; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sterling House for their support and kindness and the staff at Concordia Hospital for their care of Dolores.
