Alice worked for over 20 years as a Proctor in our mental health program. She helped many clients by escorting them to appointments. Alice was well liked by her coworkers and clients. She always stopped by with a story about her travels, her athletic therapy work or to talk about Celtic Women. She was reliable and dedicated to helping others. She would often adjust her schedule to accommodate a last minute request. Rest Peacefully dear Alice. Our deepest condolences to your family. I met Alice as the softball world knew her when we both played for the Earl Gray Owls Ladies Fastball Team. I was one of the lucky ones to get free massages when Alice was earning her certification. Alice was always a good friend to the Newsham Family. She never failed to ask how the girls were doing. I still don't know how she was able to fit all that medical equipment into her station wagon. Softball lost a very supportive member. Rest In Peace Alice. - Posted by: Marion Newsham (Friend) on: Jan 27, 2022

Alice, a friend from long ago. Always positive, upbeat and willing to be of help. She had a great smile. I knew Alice when she was involved in squash and when she helped in the athletic therapy dept at the U of M. I am sorry that we lost touch over the years. - Posted by: Ann Klein (Friend) on: Jan 25, 2022
