EDMONDE TRUDEAU
1942 - 2022
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Edmonde (née Hupé) on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the Villa Youville, Ste-Anne, MB, at the age of 79.
Left to cherish her memory, her husband of 62 years, Louis Trudeau; two sons, Gerald (Diane), Robert (Belinda); four grandchildren, Marc (Sara), Gina (David), Christine (Zach), Kaylene (Kody) and seven great-grandchildren, Émilie, Mia, Alyssa, Paige, Peyton, Myles, Kassian, niece and goddaughter Claudette Hupé; two sisters-in-law, Juliette and Thérèse and brother-in-law Jean-Paul.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edmond and Josette (Plouffe); sister Marguerite (Marcien); five brothers, Marcel (Aurore), Lionel (Hélène), Florent, Fernand, Denis; sister-in-law Claudette; in-laws, Paul and Regina Trudeau; brother-in-law Léo and great-grandson Dawson Nadeau.
Edmonde was born January 31, 1942, and lived in La Coulée and Ste. Anne, where she raised her family along with Louis. She worked at Raber Glove Manufacturing in Winnipeg and Kindale Industries in Steinbach. When the boys were young, they enjoyed camping as a family. She enjoyed watching her son's hockey games and she really enjoyed cleaning, keeping all tidy.
Cremation has already taken place. Due to current restrictions a service will be planned at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Villa Youville for the great care provided over the past two years, Soeur Irene Rioux and Claudette for all you've done for mom/mémère over the years.
