ALLAN YOUNG
June 17, 1931 - January 25, 2022
It is with deep regret we announce the peaceful passing of Allan Young in the early morning at Riverview Health Centre.
Allan is survived by his daughters, Tanis (Barry), Tracy, and son Todd (Arlene), grandson Lexxus, and longtime friend Annette.
Allan truly enjoyed his years at Lester Beach and the many gatherings with all his friends, especially John (Lorraine) whom he considered as a son. His love of taxidermy was displayed throughout the cottage in various animals.
Allan's love of nature included taking care of his flowers growing the best begonias and feeding the hummingbirds and blue jays. He also loved a fun night out at Smitty's or Boston Pizza trying his luck with the lottery machines there, of which he was very lucky at.
Allan started work in 1964 at the CPR as a policeman which he was very proud of. He later moved on to be a machinist helper and then retired after 32 years of service.
Earth's Loss is Heaven's Gain.
